A personal application operated by Ron Angel to preserve, transcribe and browse his voice recordings. It runs on his Mac and uses a private Google Drive archive.
The Voice Recording Pipeline is a private tool for Ron Angel’s own use. It is not offered to the public or available for public registration.
The application copies recorder audio into local working storage, transcribes it with local software and generates descriptive titles with a local model. It stores original audio, transcripts and an integrity manifest in its Google Drive archive. Its Meeting Archive dashboard supports browsing, playback and confirmed movement of an archived meeting into Drive Trash.
The Google permission is drive.file, covering files created by or explicitly used with this app. The pipeline validates its own archive before operating. It does not request access to all files in Google Drive.
Ron may use archive transcripts with Codex or ChatGPT for analysis. Those requests make selected text available to the service used for that request. This is separate from the pipeline’s local transcription and title generation.
